Many areas in rural Missouri lack basic animal welfare resources like animal control. Often, the role of animal control falls to local law enforcement. With very few facilities to house strays, and even fewer adoption opportunities, The Barking Bridge Project believes that the answer for strays lies with transport. By moving dogs from areas of high concentration and low resources to areas with high demand for adoptable dogs, we save lives and prevent suffering. And that's what we're all about.
